Stock L98 heads produce a peak flow of around 200 CFM at .550" lift (28" H2O), the small valve ported heads - 230 CFM at .550, and the large maxi ported heads 246 CFM at .550". GM has just released the new design "fast burn" head that shows alot of promise, no hard facts on it yet! Port volumes are; stock 163cc, small valve ported 171cc, large valve ported 175cc, these are a high velocity design and port volume is kept as small as possible while maximizing airflow. If this power is suffcient I'd say keep these heads, if you want more power you could change to another head design. Hope this helps! DRHP
