Nice Page! I've been searching the net looking for the
info on dropping a ZZ4 into my stock
'90 C1500 4.3L 5 speed.
Questions:
- I'm sure someone has done this. How well does the
truck handle that high HP ?? Are the overall gains
worth it - I'd like it to be reliable. Plan to put
about 12K miles per year on it.
- What's the optimal tranny. Is my getrag 5 sp worth
keeping. (I'm planning on a posi - 3.73 rear end)
- Any pointers to web sites/books/or mags would be
appreciated.
