I have a 1988 camaro with the v-6. I am the original owner and the car has never been damaged. I want to increase the performance. I have thought about swapping in a v-* from a wrecked 1988-1992 camaro or firebird, but I have been told everything has to be changed. I have also considered building a 3.1l or a 3.4l and reusing some of the existing components like the trans, radiator, intake,etc. Any ideas? The engine was stock at 135 HP, but I would like to get around 200+ hp. The car is my daily driver and has 114,000 miles.
