I have a friend with an 88 Betetta 2.0 that wants to do something like this.
Say, Partsmaster, isn't it the same basic external block as the 3.1, just with
bigger internals and OHC heads? I would think with just a little fiddling, it
should bolt in. The bellhousing to auto trans should be the same,
or the 3.4 trans could come along. Probably good from durability
standpoint. If a small block can go into a Fiero fairly easily (guy makes a
kit - V8 basically bolts into the motor cradle which is about same as
Cavalier / Beretta motor cradle as I understand), the 3.4 should go into
the Cavalier / Beretta. let's link email and keep track - we might look
into this in awhile -
