I saw an article where John Moss adopted a late model SFI intake from an LT1 and grafted it onto 400 SB with Trick Flow conventional aluminum heads in a late model green Monte Carlo. This motor had an HEI distributor installed with this manifold! Can this setup (grafting LT1 SFI intake onto Gen 1 SB motor) be duplicated by your machine shop to accomodate the distributor and cylinder head bolt pattern? Is this worth the cost and effort?
