I've almost completed the installation of my new ZZ4 into my '65 Chevelle (thank you, Sallee!). My carb is a Rochester Quadra-Jet with a divorced choke setup. It doesn't look like there is an exhaust crossover in the ZZ4's aluminum intake, even though there's a blockoff plate where the stove usually sits - so, where can I get some heat for my choke? I'm using the original cast iron exhaust headers at this time. Would you recommend conversion to an electric choke? If so, any problem taking the power for the electric choke off the HEI power wire? Thanks for your answers, I hope to get it running after work tomorrow night (Monday)!
