: I have a 1988 S10 Blazer 4wd with a 2.8 litre V6. Are there any GM or Aftermarket Parts available to juice this litle engine up a bit? I am not looking for tire smoking performance, just a little more muscle to get me around the hills of Tennessee.
: Thanks

JC Whitney sells a TBI unit for the 2.8 that is
supposed to supply something like 25% more volume.
Seems like a fairly cheap idea. I'd presume
that some manifold porting would be needed to
take advantage of it.
Myself, I have two questions about the '88
2.8 L on a 4WD. - Why does the replacement
3.4 L only work on 82-85? (Did the bellhousing
change?) 2) Would parts from the 3.1L supply
any additional motivation?
