Chevrolet - CUSTOMER-RIDES’S 1999 SUBURBAN | ![]() |
This is Tom Wong's 1999 Suburban. The 502 was completely disassembled, balanced and blueprinted before installation into the new Suburban. The original 502/502 performance cam was replaced with a custom ground hydraulic roller by Crane for streetability. He used Competition Cams Pro Magnum stainless steel roller rocker arms, which required some minor mod's to the valve covers for clearance. The GM Performance heads were CNC ported, and machined to insure port to port and chamber to chamber consistency. More information about his ZZ502 Suburban can be found on his Web site with the link to it, provided to us by Tom, below. Emissions laws have changed a lot since 1999, we are not allowed to help anyone make these changes to this new of a vehicle any longer unless they live in a country where it is legal or if the vehicle will be used for strictly off-road use only. | |||||||||||||
