This “high tech” magnesium rocker cover with central hold-down bolts is used on production aluminum Corvette heads. It has a Corvette emblem and no oil filler hole.

10093393 Pontiac - Aluminum Small Block V8 (Two Covers)
This cast aluminum competition valve cover was designed for the 18° racing cylinder head but can be used on any small block Chevrolet design engines. The attached flange mount is early Chevrolet small block; and the body of the cover is wider to give room for after-market roller rocker arm and support systems. The Pontiac nameplate is machined in the top of the cover. There are no holes for oil fill or PCV in this cover. These sand cast and age hardened aluminum covers are designed for Pontiac Super Duty aluminum cylinder heads P/N 10045427. The Pontiac logo is cast on the top of each cover.		 (Pic)

This competition racing valve cover displays the name “Chevrolet” and the Chevy Bow Tie. It has no holes for PCV or oil fill, but has bosses for drilling oil holes or PVC. It is recommended for use on all pre-1986 V8 small-block Chevy engines.

25534420 Pontiac - Small-Block V8 Plain Cast Aluminum, Non-Polished, No Baffles. (Two Covers)
This Pontiac short-style valve cover kit was designed around enthusiasts request for a GM designed stock replacement cast aluminum valve cover to fit 301 c.i.d. through 455 c.i.d. Pontiac cylinder head applications. Casting number 25534426. Includes Air Breather and PCV Grommet set GM 12341988 / Proform 141-615.
Notes: These valve covers may not clear all accessories on all applications. You may have to modify an engine bracket in some instances.
     Covers may not clear aftermarket valve springs, rocker arms or girdles. Check for possible interference when using other than stock components.
     Covers have one 1.22” machined grommet hole in each cover. For two breather applications, you will need to purchase another grommet set.
     4 - 5/16” x 1” retaining bolts, cap screws or button head cap screws, and 4 flat washers are needed for installation.
     A Fel-Pro 1627 or 1623 gasket and push-in Proform 66018 oil fill cap are recommended.
     It may be necessary to make a new Air Cleaner Filter Pipe for some applications due to change of oil hole in covers.
