     Chevrolet took the ZZ502/502 long-block part number 12371204 and gave it fuel injected performance and economy.
     The Chevrolet Fuel Injected 502 RPM PRO-FLO EFI engine with it’s 540 @ 5600 RPM horsepower and torque rating of 569 @ 4500 RPM, will make your vehicle the talk of your block and with the optional Mallory distributor package and special polished valve covers will make a splash at any car show.
     This engine is a great combination and alternative to GM's Ram Jet 502. Our 502 RPM Pro-Flo EFI engine puts out 526 horsepower at 5100 RPM compared to the Ram Jet 502’s 502 HP at 5100 RPM and is rated at 540 horsepower at 5600 RPM. If you have been looking for a more powerful fuel injected big-block crate engine, you have found it now.
     We didn't stop with just adding Edelbrock's Performer RPM Pro-Flow® EFI system (P/N 3550) and Edelbrock calibration chip (P/N 3555), We also made a roller rocker upgrade to Crower stainless rockers (P/N 73605). Then we added GM red 8mm plug wires and loom kit (P/N 12495079), GM gear reduction starter (P/N 09000852), GM #4 Rapid Rire spark plugs (P/N 25164642), and a GM large cap HEI distributor (P/N 1104067) for the finishing touches.
     Our Race Shop also added two options to the standard Dyno testing option, a Mallory small cap distributor kit designed using a distributor designed by both Edelbrock and Mallory to work specifically with Edelbrock’s Pro-Flow EFI System, and they polished GM’ P/N 12495488 custom die cast aluminum valve covers to dress this engine up and give it dazzling appearance.
