After the Chevrolet Race Shop finalized the design of the Super Street 502, they put it through many long hours of testing on the dyno to prove that it could hold up to the higher RPM demands they made on it. After all the testing was done, it was clear that the tech's in the Chevrolet Race Shop had met their goals producing an engine that was much more powerful then the ZZ 502/502 and could also easily and safely cruise at higher RPM's the the ZZ 502/502 maximum recommended RPM limit. Comparing the ZZ 502/502 max. RPM limit of 5,800 to the Super Street 502 max. RPM limit of 6,500 it is easy to see that the Super Street 502 out performs the ZZ 502/502 by leaps and bounds while still running off the same premium 92 octane pump gas as that ZZ 502/502 does.      Keys - allengine, scperformanceeng, gmperformanceeng, gmgoodwrencheng.
