      If your racecar requires a distributor with a tach drive, this is the one you need. The P/N 8571 tach drive distributor has all the same features as the Corvette distributor, except it does not have a vacuum advance.
     MSD’s race proven magnetic pickup delivers precise trigger signals to your MSD ignition every time one of the reluctor's precision paddles pass by. This reluctor assembly is connected to an oversized steel shaft for increased strength and endurance.
     Just above the reluctor, a mechanical advance assembly provides the ability to produce a timing curve to match your engine’s needs. This assembly is tig welded for strength and features chrome moly weights and nylon pads to ensure smooth advance as the rpm increases.

Note: Must be used with 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 Series Ignition. Supplied with cap and rotor. Unit stands 7-1/16” above the intake manifold after being installed and is approximately 5-1/8” wide. This product is not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled vehicles.
