The Goodwrench replacement engine is an ideal power plant for a
performance enthusiast working on a budget. The 350ci Goodwrench
small-block is assembled with all new components. It has an
8.5:1 compression ratio, four-bolt main bearing caps, a cast
nodular iron crankshaft, and a hydraulic camshaft. The cylinder
heads have 1.94” intake valves and 1.50” exhaust valves. The
Goodwrench engine is a complete assembly, less intake and
exhaust manifolds, torsional damper, water pump, pulleys,
distributor, spark plugs, flywheel, clutch, and components.
Includes: Timing cover, oil pan, and valve covers.
Engine comes as shown in the pictures above. Equipped with a GM Performance Parts aluminum intake manifold, ignition system, and chromed accessories, a Goodwrench engine can provide exceptional performance in a street rod, street machine, pleasure boat, or truck. Approximate horsepower is 250 HP depending on how it is equipped. This Goodwrench engine is an excellent foundation for just about any year and any high performance project. |

we installed a GM Performance camshaft kit P/N 12353917,

Warranty Note: The GM Goodwrench warranty applies only to the base long block engine (P/N 10067353) for P/N SC285GW. | The two pictures above are of a custom Goodwrench Universal Engine that our Race Shop built for one of our customers. They had me take pictures of it before they shipped it out, so people could see that there is more to options then just what is listed below here. This isn’t the only custom crate engine they have made. It just happened to be the next one they made after deciding they needed pictures of one they have done, put on the site. I believe they said this one was going into a Model T. I have a page made, where you can see more pictures of this custom engine. Our Race Shop has made custom built up crate engines for a wide range of applications and customers including Hollywood. One of their custom engines was in the Green Hornet’s car in that recent movie of not too many years ago. | |
